What inspired me to become an artist was watching people draw on youtube. I then started asking my parents to buy me colored pencils and paints to start drawing. My favorite artist is Camileon on Youtube. Artists are important to the world or our society because it is inspiring to people and it can show lots of things like history or emotions.

My favorite mediums are markers and colored pencils because they are easy to use. I know my artwork is finished when it feels colorful colors. I choose what to draw by first deciding on a topic, like realistic drawing or anime style. My art style is between anime and realism. Right now I am doing more realistic drawings. I developed this art style because of my sister. I would watch her try drawing realistic people, and I liked it, so I started to draw realistic things, like an apple. When faced with making creative decisions I look for references. Making mistakes is okay because sometimes it makes it better. But if it is bad I try my best to fix it. I manage time by drawing how much I can draw and then fix the drawing. Two goals I have is to get better at drawing and use more bright colors than just with pencil. Right now, I am struggling with developing a concept/ or an idea into an artwork. My biggest challenge as an artist is making art because when creating you have to think about what you are making or is this what you want to show people. What I do to continue to grow is draw every day and draw difficult drawings. I have been thinking and I want to be a fashion designer.

One advice I would give is try your best and don’t rush the process.
