Hiya! I’m Nilijah!

What inspired me to do art? Well nothing really inspired me, I just knew the concept of art and did doodles here and there. But when I kinda just kept doing it, it was kinda fun. It started with me just looking at an anime and seeing how my mom used to draw. I kind of just doodled but I didn’t really do anything crazy.

I recently started doing digital art maybe two years ago. I'm still not great at it though, but it is still my favorite, and I also like sketching. When I’m facing creative decisions, I just do whatever I feel like doing. Making mistakes during my art doesn’t mind me because I can always fix it, I sometimes do it for fun. It makes me mad if it was on a painting though. I don’t really care if it looks bad, because I can always change it when I feel like it. I know when my artwork is done when I either just don’t feel like doing it anymore or I just think it is good enough. I don’t really ever know what to draw, but when I start drawing an idea pops into my head. Even when I’m halfway through the sketch or drawing I can think of something I want to do. I don’t really have an art style. And I don’t really have any goals besides that I want to animate a small little animation or create a comic with original characters that I'm currently working on. I’m struggling with motivating myself because its really hard to, but talking to my friends and music, either making it or listening to it motivates me, but doing art is fun and it helps me take my mind away from things. I really do want to continue learning in art so I can create stories.

If I had to give advice to someone who just started art, I would tell them, learn on your own, and find your own art style.
