Artists give people another view of the world. Artists see something different in people. I always liked to draw stuff in my free time and listen to music. I got started with just drawing dresses in my free time or every time I got bored. My artstyle is just pretty and cartoonish because it is fun to do and you can get really creative. 

I used to just draw in pencil but now that we’ve been drawing on the ipads and I like it so far. I choose what to draw by asking my classmate or I look up some stuff or just start thinking about it. When making creative decisions, I think you have to have your own little spine and just add a lot of your kind style to it. If I make a mistake I would turn it into something and not start back over. To manage my time, I just stop talking and get to work and do what I need to do. You know your artwork is finished, when you feel like it is done or when you just look at it and there is no space left.

I would say I struggle with drawing the background more than anything. The biggest challenge I would say is not giving up on your drawing because it’s hard to do. My two goals are to get better and to get more creative than I am right now. To make sure I grow, I just keep on drawing and do what I do best and not care.

My advice to a beginner is that it takes time to get better and to take it slow and you will do great.

I don’t want to be an artist professionally, but I would most likely want to do it in my free time.
