Artists play a vital role in society by offering entertainment with what they do. I was inspired to be an artist because of cartoons like wild kratts. I loved the art style and always tried drawing the animals for as long as i can remember i was always drawing. I can't really remember when I started art but I liked watching cartoons and I remember trying to draw them and also drawing animals mainly from wild kratts.

My favorite art medium is graphite pencil. I don't usually like coloring it in but the pencils feel the best in my hands. I like digital art after graphite because of the freedom. My art style is way more cartoony than realistic because realistic was too hard for me and I didnt like it when I drew it. I’ve been drawing like this for as long as I can remember. I just start with drawing a circle most times and go from there. When faced with creative decisions I usually just go with the flow and whatever my hands make. I feel that making mistakes is okay and I deal with the mistakes by just going with them, adding them to my artwork or either just get rid of the mistake. They don't usually stop me. I manage my time when I have a deadline by trying hard to focus on the thing I have a deadline for. When i can't stay on task, i take a little break to doodle something else till i'm ready to keep going. I really only know an art piece is done when I feel satisfied with it. My biggest challenge as an artist is art block. I hate it and it always hits me like a truck and it's hard to get past it. I'm usually never satisfied with what I make when having an art block. My two goals as an artist is to one just have fun while making art and two just try to improve my art little by little. What i do to continue to make sure I grow as an artist is to always try to doodle when I can and try doing new stuff and not stopping.

My advice for a beginner is to have fun, go with your own instincts while drawing and use whatever you need to improve. Using references isn’t cheating and copying is okay as long as you don't claim the artwork as your own without credits to the artist you copied.

Visual art is something I’m considering professionally.
