Kevin

Hi I’m Kevin. 

I think being an artist is important to the world/society because sometimes art can teach you something or cheer you up. I got inspired by art  because of the way you can make a two dimensional object look 3D. And I wanted to get a new talent also because it might be useful in the future. Wassily Kandinsky is my favorite artist because of the way he uses colors as emotions and I think that's creative.

I don’t really have a favorite art style or material but I kind of like markers and Kandinsky's art style. I usually just see what comes to my mind when I want to draw something. I try to be as creative as possible and I try to fix my mistakes whenever possible. When I have a deadline I just try to block out everything else and get it done. I know when my art is done usually when people have approved and i think it's done. I am struggling with perfection issues because I want my sketches to be perfect and sometimes I start over. 

Two goals that I have for myself as an artist is to make smoother lines, and being able to color inside of the lines. I’m not doing too much besides practicing my goals to make sure that I grow artistically. I don’t think I will do art professionally but i do want to keep getting better. 

I’d say to a beginner artist that you will get really good someday if you practice your goals, and that you can’t do everything YET, but you will.
