Hi, I am Champy. Being an artist is important to the world because it helps people express themselves and learn more about themselves. What inspired me to become an artist is that it was fun to draw. I got started with art by making doodles when I was probably about two years old and then I just did not stop drawing throughout the years so even now, I still draw.

My favourite art mediums are colored pencils and digital art. My art style is to make everything look silly or funny with either dot eyes or big cartoon eyes. I’ve developed my art style because I liked drawing this way and it is funny. I choose what to draw whenever something silly pops up in my head. Whenever I am faced with creative decisions, I tend to do what I like best. When I make mistakes while drawing, I sometimes turn my mistakes into something better but also sometimes I just erase it. When I have a deadline, I make sure to do everything step by step and one at a time. I know that my art is finished when I have everything that I need to have. I would love to do art professionally and I would like to be a graphic designer.

Currently, as an artist, I struggle with drawing hands and also realistic eyes. The biggest challenge of being an artist is probably the criticism but it does help you get better at art. As an artist, my goals are to light up people’s days and also to have as much fun as possible. An advice I would give to new artists is to do what is fun for you.
