Art is very important to society because without art many cultures wouldn't exist and there would be no originality. I don't remember what inspired me, i've been drawing for 10 years now. I usually draw when I'm bored and that's when I come up with the most creative ideas. My artstyle is manga/realistic/people. I developed my art style when I started coming up with characters in my head and wanted to draw them. My favorite art mediums are digital and pencil on paper. I choose what to draw by putting ideas together in my head and choose the best one. When making creative decisions, I come up with a theme then put things together that match. I don't really care about mistakes so I erase them.I know my art is finished when it looks like what I had imagined in my head. I stay focused with a deadline by just thinking about the consequences if I don't turn it in and I take ten minute breaks. I'm struggling with proportions as an artist right now. My two goals as an artist is to learn how to correctly draw people and get cleaner lines. As I continue to grow, I will continue to practice anatomy. Being a professional artist is something I would like to do as an art teacher. 

The advice I would give to a beginner artist is to ignore the haters.
