Being an artist is important because it can bring people together to discuss a painting. I don’t have a favorite artist but I like the artist that draws caricatures. I got inspired to be an artist because I like to draw very much. I got started in the 5th grade when I joined art. 

My favorite art medium is watercolor because of how it looks smooth. My art style is fictional because I like drawing weird aliens or people. I started drawing stuff that would not be real like a mushroom with eyes. I look at my top 5 ideas and search them up and whatever I like most I choose it. When I face creative decisions I choose the one I like most. I don’t mind mistakes because they help you understand. I try to focus and hurry up when I have a deadline. You know an artwork is finished when the shading and lines are good.

Things I struggle on as an artist is having good shading. The biggest challenge as an artist is drawing the sketch of the painting. My 2 goals that I have as an artist is to make my drawing realistic and good. I try harder and harder  to make sure I continue to grow as an artist. Visual art is something I do want to do and not. I would like to start my own clothing company selling pants and hoodies. I also want a career in soccer because it's my favorite sport.

The advice I would give to someone who just started drawing is to have creativity.
