Artists are important because they can make very interesting, unique, colorful things, and be creative. They can also create things that don’t exist. I don't remember when I started drawing, but it feels like forever ago. Favorites in this world aren’t really my thing, so I don’t have a favorite artist.
I like all of the mediums, but I like graphite pencils the best. My art style is more like cartoons. It’s hard to explain how I choose what to draw because it is a combination of things. I like drawing stuff that already exists. Sometimes I get inspired by a book I've read. I don’t like making mistakes. I tend to just crumble up my paper and start over again. Ms Nuru says I don’t like receiving feedback but, I do. I do like feedback. I don’t like when Ms Nuru tells me to fix something that is part of the drawing: like my lines. Ms Nuru quality clean lines, but I like that swish around. It’s supposed to look chaotic. I don’t really know when the artwork is finished. It can be hard to find the mistakes with all the details. I’m struggling with not making mistakes. I am human: so it’s okay to make mistakes. I can try again. No, because visual art can sometimes be very hard for me because finger drawing is not easy. And paper is just a lot easier for me. Two goals I have are making sure I fill up every spot, and make less mistakes. I don’t want to do art professionally. There’s a different job I want to have in the future. I want to be a media mogul.
My advice to a beginner artist is to always try again.
