Mimii

Hi, I'm Melody, preferably Mimii! And I really believe that artists and art are important because how else will others be inspired?? Art is a source of creativity. I was heavily inspired by my dad to start doing art. He helped me get started and was the first person to expose me to professional art. My favorite artists are samdoesart on youtube, and vincent van gogh. My favorite medium is traditional: like pencils, pens, paintings, and stuff like that. My art style is… well… i don't have one- it's kind of semi realistic to anime like. . And I don't do good under the pressure of making decisions. And to stay focused on my art I listen to music. My art is done when I say it's done.. Otherwise, it must have depth, value, and …yeah. I personally don't think I'm struggling with anything particularly. The biggest challenge as an artist is receiving criticism. Two of my goals are to continue growing and to help others grow. I'm going to continue to grow by staying consistent in my work. I’m into digital art but it's not something I'd do professionally. 

An advice I'd give to a beginner artist is to ignore haters and people saying “oh i'm so much better!” cause they aren't.
