Right now I am in 6th grade. Even though I feel as if it’s only recently that I really decided to create art during my free time, it is one of my favorite things to do. It’s probably a bit strange but a lot of the inspiration I acquire is from anime styled art. My favorite medium is without a doubt just a simple pencil and eraser. Something I feel like I struggle with when drawing or painting is my desire to start something else and abandon what I started due to a loss of inspiration in flow. Something that I can use as almost a base or a starting point for my art is a song. Based on the mood or emotion I want the artwork to give off, I can listen to a song that I feel gives off the same vibe and just draw inspiration from it. A goal I have been working on achieving is to become a professional illustrator and to animate/draw my own manga with my friend writing most of the plot. To anyone who wants to be an artist, based on what you are interested in creating I would just suggest finding sketches of what you want to draw and just build up your knowledge of it. I would highly encourage you to become an artist, because without art I would assume that your favorite thing to do never would have come about.
